Minton takes his talents to Delta State

FULTON, Miss. – 2024 Itawamba Community College graduate Chris Minton of Indianola has signed to continue his basketball career at Delta State University.

During his final season with the Indians, Minton led ICC beyond the arc, averaging a team-best 38.9 three-point percentage. The guard scored a total of 214 points, recorded 65 assists and 84 total rebounds and posted a career-high 19-point performance at Hinds during the 2023-24 season.

Minton joins former ICC teammate Kolby Horace, who signed with the Statesmen after the 2022-23 season. Delta State is a member of both the Gulf South Conference (GSC) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II.
