FULTON, Miss. - The Indians saw East Central score in the 83rd minute to sneak out of Fulton with a 2-1 victory.
Freshman midfielder Alexis Resendiz (Horn Lake) found the equalizer off an assist from Luan Balestieri (Rio Grande, Brazil) early in the second half but the Indians couldn't rally in the final seven minutes to force the match into overtime.
