FULTON, MS – Itawamba Community College Sports Information Department is proud to announce its partnership with Fancred, the one of the fastest growing sports social networking app, to help enhance their award-winning athletic social media network.
"We are excited to team with Fancred to help give our student-athletes and athletic programs more national notoriety," said Assistant Sports Information Director Adam Gore. "This is something we've been working towards since the app was started and we are happy to be one of the first of what will likely be many more NJCAA athletic programs to join the Fancred family."
Fancred is a new social media networking platform designed entirely for sports at your fingertips. It lets users follow other people and friends in addition to accessing content tagged for their favorite teams.
The unique feature of the app, the Fancred score, is a 1-100 point system determined by activity level combined with engagement from other users to establish their credibility on the network. This provides members more control in deciding who to follow to get certain information or join the discussion on topics involving their teams.
The user-friendly, five-star app was created and is operated by Starkville, Mississippi natives Hossein Kash Razzaghi (CEO) and Michael Pan (VP, Product) along with Jeremy Merle (CEO), Craig Johnson (VP, Engineering), and Landon Howell (Head of Strategy and Content).
"The app gives sports fans a very unique, enjoyable, and somewhat competitive way to connect with other fans across the globe," commented Gore. "It is a great way to capture your life as a fan and its founders' roots being from the North Mississippi area is an added bonus of helping culture and celebrate home-grown success in the business world."
"Being from Mississippi, it's a huge personal accomplishment to have ICC join Fancred to better connect, interact, and share with their student, alumni, and fans. We're incredibly excited about this great partnership," said Razzaghi.
The app was officially launched on Monday.
