Adam Gore
Sports Information Director | Director of Media Relations

Adam Gore serves as the Sports Information Director and Director of Media Relations at Itawamba Community College, bringing more than two decades of experience in broadcasting, journalism, and athletic communications. He is dedicated to promoting ICC student-athletes, teams, and programs while elevating the college’s profile through innovative media strategies and storytelling.

Gore began his career in sports media as a reporter and play-by-play announcer with W07BN in 1998, eventually serving as Sports Director from 2003 to 2010. He launched and operated GoreSports.net from 2006 to 2011, providing coverage for local and regional sports, and co-hosted the Miss 98 Scoreboard Show for more than a decade. In the summer of 2025, he relaunched GoreSports.net to continue delivering in-depth coverage of local and regional athletics. He joined ICC as the college’s first-ever Assistant Sports Information Director in 2010 and was promoted to Sports Information Director and Director of Media Relations in 2014. He also served as Interim Community Relations Director in 2018, overseeing broader marketing and media efforts for the college.

Throughout his tenure at ICC, Gore has been instrumental in increasing visibility for the Indians’ athletic programs. His work has brought national attention to ICC football’s upset of defending national champion East Mississippi Community College, highlighted remarkable individual performances such as Anthoney Fernandez’s six-goal soccer match that reached ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10, and produced feature stories for networks including Fox Sports Sun, spotlighting former ICC standout Desmond Jennings. Gore has also overseen digital and social media strategy for all 17 ICC athletic programs, consistently expanding audience reach and engagement.

Gore’s contributions have earned widespread recognition, including more than 100 Mississippi Press Association awards and 70 College Public Relations Association of Mississippi awards. He has received ICC’s first-ever CPRAM Grand Award for New Media/Social Media in 2015 and the ICC Meritorious Award for Outstanding Administrative/Professional Staff Member of the Year in 2018. He was also named to the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal Top 40 Under 40 three times (2018–2020).

He earned his A.A. degrees from Northwest Mississippi Community College and Itawamba Community College, followed by a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of West Alabama.

Adam Gore resides in Fulton and continues to advance ICC Athletics through innovative media strategies and dedicated storytelling.
