Butler, Davis, Montgomery named to CSC Academic All-America® At-Large Teams
Itawamba Community College had three student-athletes named to the 2025-26 Academic All-America® At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators.
FULTON, Miss. – Itawamba Community College had three student-athletes named to the 2025-26 Academic All-America® At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators.
Madden Butler was named the Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for the College Division. He was joined on the first team by men's basketball player DJ Davis and softball standout Ramsey Montgomery.
Butler, an exercise science major with a 4.0 GPA, led ICC with a .441 batting average while adding 60 RBIs, 12 home runs and seven stolen bases in 47 games. The Corinth native earned first-team All-Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference honors and has committed to McNeese State University.
Davis, an engineering major with a 3.88 GPA, helped the Indians win the MACCC championship and finish as runner-up in the Region 23 Tournament. He averaged 11.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for ICC this past season.
Davis also was selected to the National Junior College Athletic Association All-Region 23 Men's Basketball Team first team and earned first-team All-MACCC honors.
He will continue his career at Jackson State University.
Montgomery, who posted a 4.0 GPA, was named to the 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association NJCAA Division II All-America Second Team and the 2026 NFCA NJCAA Division II South Region Second Team while also earning second-team All-MACCC honors.
She set ICC's modern-day single-season record with 205 strikeouts and earned MACCC Pitcher of the Week honors along with one NJCAA Division II Pitcher of the Week award.
Montgomery will step away from the diamond and continue working toward her Occupational Therapy Assistant degree.
