FULTON, MS -- Itawamba Community College sophomore left-handed pitcher Dylan Earnest (Hamilton)signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his baseball career with the Southeastern Louisiana University Lions after his final season in Fulton.
Earnest, former Louisville Slugger High School All-American while at Hamilton HS, sported a 5-3 mark with a 4.30 ERA and led ICC's staff in strikeouts (71) to innings pitched (68) ratio.
Joining Earnest on Wednesday was Mississippi State signee Ben Hudspeth (Tupelo) and Kentucky signee Tyler Tipton (Shlebyville, KY).
All three of these D'1 signees helped lead the Indians (39-13) to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) North Division championship and the semifinals of both the MACJC State and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 Tournaments last spring.
