Baseball season opener rescheduled for Friday

Fulton, Miss. – The Itawamba Community College program will get its season started a day earlier than planned, as the three-team tripleheader in Booneville has been moved from Saturday to Friday.

The Indians will still go head-to-head with Northeast and East Mississippi as originally schedule. First pitch for the Indians game with the rival Tigers is scheduled for 11 a.m., followed by the game against East Mississippi at 2 p.m.

Both contests are scheduled to be broadcast on nemcctv.com/blackchannel.
