The Indians got power throughout the day, big run production from the middle of the order and enough pitching in key spots to close out both wins against the Parsons.
Game 1: Indians 11, Snead State 4
ICC took control with a six-run fifth inning and pulled away for an 11-4 win in the opener.
Reid Kent put the Indians on the board first in the third with a solo home run to right field. From there, ICC kept building before breaking it open in the fifth.
Madden Butler singled home a run, Tre Gunn doubled in two, Will Caviness homered to right for two more and Houston Green added a solo homer to right as ICC turned the inning into separation.
Jack Howell earned the win for the Indians, allowing four hits and two runs over five innings with five strikeouts and three walks.
Green led ICC with two hits in four at-bats. Kent, Gunn and Caviness each drove in two runs.
Game 2: Indians 13, Snead State 12
The nightcap turned into a back-and-forth track meet, but the Indians answered every swing and held on to complete the sweep.
ICC got started in the first when Brody Thompson stole home, but Snead State moved in front 2-1 in the bottom of the second.
The Indians took the lead back in the third. Kent brought in a run on a groundout and Butler followed with a two-run homer to right to push ICC in front.
Snead State tied it at four in the fourth on a home run to right, then moved back ahead 6-4 in the fifth on a run-scoring single.
The Indians stayed close in the sixth when Graham hit a solo homer to right, setting up the biggest inning of the day.
ICC broke the game open in the seventh, scoring eight runs on five hits to turn a tight game into a 13-6 lead. The key swing came from Thompson, who homered to center for three runs during the surge.
Snead State made a late charge, but the Indians held on for the 13-12 win.
Solomon Smith earned the win, allowing one hit and no runs over 1.1 innings with one strikeout and no walks. Scott Green picked up the save after entering in the bottom of the ninth and getting a pop out with runners on the corners to end it.
