ICC jumps six spots in latest JC Gridiron Poll
The Itawamba Community College football team (1-0, 0-0 MACJC North) jumped from their No. 27 preseason ranking to No. 21 in this week’s JC Gridiron National Junior College Football Poll after defeating East Central Community College (0-1, 0-0 MACJC South) 35-15 on Saturday.

FULTON, MS – The Itawamba Community College football team (1-0, 0-0 MACJC North) jumped from their No. 27 preseason ranking to No. 21 in this week's JC Gridiron National Junior College Football Poll after defeating East Central Community College (0-1, 0-0 MACJC South) 35-15 on Saturday.
Other Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College (MACJC) teams in this week's poll include: East Mississippi Community College (No. 3), Hinds Community College (No. 7), Gulf Coast Community College (No, 10) and Northwest Mississippi Community College (No. 28) with Copiah-Lincoln Community College earning votes.
Arizona Western Community College (Yuma, AZ) over took Mt. San Antonio Community College (Walnut, CA) for the nation's top team according to this week's JC Girdiron National Junior College rankings, which includes National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and California programs.
The Indians will host Southwest Mississippi Community College (0-0, 0-0 MACJC South) Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in their home opener at Eaton Field.
