Indians add three coaches to football staff
ICC’s football program has added three coaches for the 2020 season, including two familiar faces in Fulton.
Fulton, Miss. – Itawamba Community College's football program has added three coaches for the 2020 season, including two familiar faces in Fulton.
Returning as defensive backs coach is Tyrone Fox, who spent the last season at Shannon High School. He started his tenure at ICC in 2006 before stepping away to join the Red Raiders in 2019. During his years at ICC, Fox has helped numerous student-athletes move on to the next level, including current NFL players Darius Slay and Kemon Hall.
Filling another one of Coach Sean Cannon's coaching vacancies is also a familiar face. Grant Kimberlin, who played for ICC in 2014-15, joins the staff as wide receivers coach. During his time as a player, Kimberlin was a two-time First-Team All-State selection. A graduate of Harding University, the Olive Branch native started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Murray State University in 2018, before taking the wide receivers coaching position at Millsaps College in 2019.
The new offensive line coach is new to the program but is no stranger to Mississippi junior college football. Andy Greening has coached at both Northwest and Northeast community colleges as well as a host of high schools in the area. He was named Coach of the Year during his time at Northeast. Greening brings 41 years of coaching experience to the Indians' staff.
The Indians' 2020 season is set to kick off Oct. 1, and the six-game schedule will be released in the future.
