ICC announces 2020 football schedule
ICC will open its 2020 football campaign at home against Coahoma Community College, and it won’t be the only time these two squads will face each other this season, according to a schedule announcement by the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) on Wednesday.
FULTON, Miss. - ICC will open its 2020 football campaign at home against Coahoma Community College, and it won't be the only time these two squads will face each other this season, according to a schedule announcement by the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) on Wednesday.
After East Mississippi elected to forgo the 2020 football season, the MACCC was faced with replacing the Lions to complete the North Division's six-game schedule.
The solution? Drawing to see which teams would play each other twice during the season.
ICC and Coahoma will square off in the season opener on Oct. 1 and in the regular-season finale on Nov. 12 in Clarksdale.
In addition to the Tigers, ICC will also host Mississippi Delta on Oct. 29 and rival Northeast on Nov. 5. The Indians will travel to Holmes on Oct. 8 and Northwest on Oct. 15.
