FULTON, Miss. — The Indians dominated its 2025 Homecoming matchup, rolling past Coahoma Community College 44–10 after building a commanding 41–0 halftime lead.
ICC (4-2, 3-0 MACCC North) set the tone early, marching 64 yards on its opening drive before quarterback Deljay Bailey hit Nate Branch for a 7-yard touchdown. Eli Burciaga's extra point made it 7–0 with 9:34 left in the first quarter.
After a defensive stop, the Indians struck again, covering 65 yards in just six plays. Bailey found Marcellus Jackson on a 13-yard scoring pass to extend the lead to 14–0 late in the first.
The offense stayed hot in the second quarter as Bailey and Branch connected once more, this time from four yards out, capping a 42-yard drive for a 21–0 lead.
The ground game took over from there. Jaylen Foster finished an 82-yard drive with a 6-yard touchdown run to push the lead to 27–0 midway through the quarter.
Moments later, the defense added to the onslaught. Bryson Thomas scooped up a fumble and returned it 29 yards for a touchdown, stretching the advantage to 34–0. ICC closed the half with a 12-play, 77-yard drive capped by Mykel Allen's 6-yard run, sending the Indians to the locker room up 41–0.
Coahoma (0-6, 0-4 MACCC North) got on the board in the third quarter with a 24-yard touchdown run by La'Zarious Penn, trimming the deficit to 41–7. ICC answered with a time-consuming drive that ended in a 25-yard Burciaga field goal, making it 44–7 at the start of the fourth.
The Tigers added a late 28-yard field goal, but ICC's defense, led by four sacks and an interception by Landon Richardson, shut the door and sealed the 44–10 final.
Up next, the Indians travel to Goodman for a key North Division matchup against the Holmes Bulldogs (3-3, 3-0 MACCC North), with first place on the line.
