Record number of teams scheduled for Thursday's ICC basketball league

FULTON, MS -- Itawamba Community College head men's basketball coach Grant Pate has released the schedule for third day of the ICC Men's Basketball Summer League scheduled for Thursday, June 13 at the Davis Event Center and Fitness Center on the Fulton Campus.
"We have 22 teams participating from 17 high schools from all across Mississippi and Alabama," said Pate. "We are excited to see how quickly this event has grown this season and look forward to another great day of basketball."
Hatley and South Pontotoc will start the day off at the Davis Event Center while Hamilton (AL) 2 and Starkville freshmen will tip off play in the Fitness Center at 9:00 a.m. while Itawamba AHS and Tremont will wrap up the day with an 8:00 game at the Event Center.
Other schools scheduled to participate: Amory, Carbon Hill (AL), Corinth, Grenada, Hamilton (AL), Lake Cormorant, North Pontotoc, Noxubee County, Oxford, Ripley, Shannon, Sulligent (AL) and Tupelo.
Thursday's games are open to the public and concessions will be provided throughout the event.
