CLARKSDALE, MS - Itawamba Community College rallied from a double-digit deficit to sneak out of Clarksdale with a 67-60 win over the Coahoma Community College Tigers on Thursday.
Trailing by 13 in the first half, Howard Thomas (Brandon) scored 9 of his team-high 14 points to lead the Indians (5-4, 1-0 MACJC North) to the victory.
Martaveous McKnight (Walls) and Quenten Taylor (Edison, GA) added 11 points each.
Dewaun Fowler paced the Tigers (2-8, 0-1 MACJC North) with 16 points.
The Indians return to the Davis Event Center Tuesday night for another MACJC North Division showdown as they take Northwest Mississippi Community College. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
