FULTON, MS – Itawamba Community College's Howard Thomas was named to the MACJC Men's All-State North Division Second Team on Monday.
The 6'7 forward averaged just shy of a double-double for the season with 10 points and 9.6 rebounds per game and was a 55 percent shooter from the field.
During his sophomore campaign, the Brandon native had eight double-doubles including an 18 points, 13 rebound performance against Mississippi Delta Community College.
Thomas and the Indians finished three games above .500 (13-10) but just missed postseason play due to a tiebreaker.
Over his two season's in red and blue, Thomas averaged 10 points and 8.3 rebounds per game and started 38 of his 41 game appearances.
