FULTON, Miss. – The Indians battled in the season finale but suffered 83-70 loss to Northwest Thursday night.
After a great Sophomore Night ceremony during pregame, the Indians (8-13, 3-9 MACJC North) started the contest neck and neck with the North Division champs, but trailed 42-30 at the end of the first half.
The Indians played the Rangers tight in the second half and were only outscored by on in the half, but the first half deficit was too much to overcome.
Brian Halums (Simmons) led the Indians in his final game the red and blue with 15 points and Joshua Greer (Jackson, Tenn.) followed with 12 points.
