Indians fall to Northwest, 66-57
After opening the season with an exciting win over Mississippi Delta, the Indians hit the road for the first time and suffered a 66-57 loss at the hands of Northwest.

Senatobia, Miss. – After opening the season with an exciting win over Mississippi Delta, the Indians hit the road for the first time and suffered a 66-57 loss at the hands of Northwest.
The Indians (1-1, 1-1 MACCC North) and Rangers battled in the first half and at the half, the Indians trailing 30-23.
In the second half, the Indians fell behind by as much as 11 points but rallied to cut Northwest's lead to 38-32 with 15 minutes to play. Later the Indians pulled within three points, but the Rangers would pull away late to pick up the victory.
Rod Jones (Albany, Ga.) scored a career-high 21 points followed by Brandon Brown (Memphis, Tenn.) with 13 and Shermontis Mitchell (Jackson) with 11 points.
The Indians return home Thursday night to take on East Mississippi at 5:30 p.m.
