Booneville, Miss. – Itawamba Community College men's basketball fell to No. 22 Northeast Mississippi Community College Tuesday night, 90-72.
The Indians (7-2, 1-1 MACCC) battled with the hosting Tigers (8-2, 1-1 MACCC) in the first half with the lead changing hands numerous times, and trailed by four, 38-34, at halftime.
In the first five minutes of the second half, the Tigers stretched their lead out to 50-39, and led for the remainder of the half on their way to the win.
Fred Cleveland, Jr. (Chicago, Ill.) and Rock Robinson (Pontotoc) led the Indians with 14 points each. Tyronn Mosley (Chicago, Ill.) added 12 points and Dashun Berry (Houlka) followed with 11 points.
The Indians will wrap up the fall semester Thursday night on the road at Stillman College with tipoff scheduled for 6 p.m.
