FULTON, Miss. – The Indians produced their most explosive shooting display of the season, overpowering Hinds 81-62 in a non-conference matchup at the Davis Event Center.
The spark arrived early off the bench in the form of Tim Holiday. He drilled five three-pointers before the break and helped build the 40–29 halftime lead that ICC carried into the locker room.
After halftime the shooting torch passed to Jaden Harper. Harper erupted for five threes in the second half and finished with a game-high 23 points on 7-of-11 shooting.
Together Holiday and Harper combined for 10 three-pointers and came within two makes of the program's modern-day single-game record. The mark set by Fred Cleveland Jr. with seven threes against Co-Lin in 2022 still stands, but both players flirted with history during their respective surges.
Damarion Winston was steady throughout and posted 18 points and six assists while controlling the pace of the offense. Kyler Fox added a forceful double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds as ICC controlled the boards and the pace in the second half.
The Indians (4-3, 0-0 MACCC) recorded 10 blocked shots which ties the seventh most in the program's modern era. The most recent time ICC reached that total was last season against Wallace State and the benchmark has been hit only six times since the 2012–13 campaign.
ICC will be back in action when they cross the state line to face Calhoun Community College on Tuesday, December 2.
