FULTON, Miss. — The Indians used a strong second half to defeat Calhoun, 76-64, on Thursday.
The Indians (3-3) were tied with the Warhawks (2-3) 35-35 at halftime before pulling away with a 41-29 run in the second half.
DJ Davis led the Indians with 17 points, connecting on three of five attempts from beyond the arc and converting all four of his free throws. Davis also paced the team with seven rebounds. Kyler Fox scored 12 points on a perfect six-for-six shooting night and grabbing seven rebounds. Damarion Winston added 11 points and a team-high seven assists.
The Indians will be back in action when they travel to Lawson State on Saturday.
