Holliday Scores 44, Sets Multiple Records in Indians' win over Tennessee Valley

FULTON, MS - Some nights add a line to the record book. Others connect generations.
Tim Holliday delivered the kind of performance that immediately invites comparison, not just to opponents but to the names that have help defined Itawamba Community College basketball over the years.
Holliday scored 44 points in a 90-71 win over Community Christian College Tennessee Valley, a total that moved him past former ICC All-American Brian Halums, whose modern-era record of 41 points had stood since 2017 against Southern Shreveport.
His three-point shooting told an equally loud story. Holliday made nine shots from beyond the arc, breaking the modern record of seven previously held by Fred Cleveland Jr. from a 2022 game against Co-Lin. He attempted 16 three-pointers, surpassing the previous modern mark of 12 set by Tre Jenkins against Mississippi Delta in 2017.
Even the volume of his night placed him alongside familiar names. Holliday 22 field-goal attempts tied Cleveland's total for second-most in a game against Bethel University in 2021. His 13 made field goals tied AJ Dent's performance against Jones last season and Ma'Darius Hobson's outing against ASU Mid-South in 2020 for second-most in a game.
Holliday finished the night 13-of-22 from the field and 9-of-9 at the free throw line, adding five rebounds, three steals and two blocks.
While the Fulton native claimed the headlines, others left their own marks by reaching back into program history.
Jason Johnson owned the offensive glass, pulling down nine offensive rebounds to tie Howard Thomas' total against Shelton State in 2015 for the second-most in a game at ICC. Johnson finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds and did not miss a shot, going 4-for-4 from the field and 4-for-4 at the line while also recording two blocks.
Damarion Winston added a steady performance that balanced scoring and distribution. He finished with 12 points and nine assists, mixing in three rebounds and two steals while keeping the offense organized.
Jaden Harper scored 10 points with two three-pointers and Kyler Fox collected 10 rebounds including seven on the offensive end while blocking two shots.
Up next for the Indians will be a Thursday night non-conference matchup with East Mississippi. The Guaranty Bank opening tip is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and the game will be streamed live on LetsGoICCTV.com/red.
