SENATOBIA, Miss. – The Indians took Northwest's best punch early, then flipped the game with a second-half surge that turned a 13-point deficit into a 93-87 road win.
The Rangers controlled the first half and had ICC chasing at the break, 47-34. The Indians stayed composed and turned the game with pace and pressure after halftime. ICC erupted for 59 points in the second half and held the Rangers to 40, swinging the night on a 59-40 finish.
The comeback was powered by a dominant interior performance from Kyler Fox, who delivered one of his most physical stat lines of the season. Fox scored 19 points on 9-of-10 shooting and owned the glass with 19 rebounds, including 12 offensive boards.
Damarion Winston set the tone finishing with 22 points, four assists, and six rebounds while living at the free throw line. Jaden Harper added 16 points with six assists, hitting two threes. DJ Davis chipped in 14 points and Tim Holliday provided a major lift off the bench with 14 points and six rebounds. Jason Johnson did the dirty work all night, posting 11 rebounds with two blocks and battling inside as ICC's defensive activity picked up in the second half.
The Indians will host Co-Lin on Thursday.
