FULTON, Miss. - No. 25 Itawamba handled business at home and never let Mississippi Delta settle in and rolled to an 84-67 win.
ICC carried a 43-34 lead into the break. The second half followed the same script. The Indians kept scoring, kept getting stops in the right moments, and won the second half 41-33 to finish it off.
Tim Holliday delivered the loudest line of the night, pouring in 22 points. Jaden Harper added 12 points while DJ Davis added 11. Damarion Winston matched him with 11 points while running the show with 10 assists. Kyler Fox gave the Indians a clean interior night, scoring nine points and controlling the paint with nine rebounds and four blocks.
The win also locked up the MACCC Championship for ICC after Pearl River defeated Jones 83-71. The Indians will be the No. 1 seed headed into Region 23 Tournament play.
