FULTON, Miss. – Sophomore guard Damarion Winston has been named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week after delivering standout performances during the Indians' run in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament.

Winston helped ICC reach the Region 23 title game with a series of impressive outings.

He opened the tournament with a 13-point performance in the quarterfinal victory over Southern-Shreveport before erupting for 32 points in the semifinal round to lead the Indians past Hinds. In the championship game against Jones, Winston saved his best for last, pouring in 36 points in a hard-fought 102-96 overtime loss.

For his performances, Winston was also named to the NJCAA Region 23 All-Tournament Team.

The Indians finished the 2025-26 season with a 24-7 overall record with a 13-1 mark in MACCC play and an appearance in the Region 23 Championship.
