Winston Named NJCAA All-American After Standout Season

FULTON, Miss. – Damarion Winston has been named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Men's Basketball Third Team All-American, the NJCAA announced on Wednesday.
Winston proved to be the engine that powered the Indians throughout the 2025-26 season, leading the team with 16.5 points per game while adding a team-best 181 assists.
The standout guard elevated his play even further in the postseason, earning NJCAA Region 23 All-Tournament Team honors. Winston delivered one of the most memorable performances of the season in the Region 23 Championship against Jones, pouring in a career-high 36 points in a hard-fought 102-96 overtime battle.
Winston's dominance did not go unnoticed across the conference, as he was named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Men's Basketball Player of the Year. He also earned First Team All-MACCC honors and was selected to the All-Region 23 Team.
The Indians finished the 2025-26 season with a 24-7 overall record with a 13-1 mark in MACCC play, the 2025-26 MACCC Regular Season Title and an appearance in the Region 23 Championship.
