Landry Miller earns postseason honors, qualifies for national tournament
Itawamba Community College’s Landry Miller (Florence, Ala.) earned a postseason honor from the Mississippi Association of Community College's Conference (MACCC) and qualified to compete in the national tournament later this month.
Fulton, Miss. – Itawamba Community College's Landry Miller (Florence, Ala.) earned a postseason honor from the Mississippi Association of Community College's Conference (MACCC) and qualified to compete in the national tournament later this month.
Miller finished the conference schedule with a 77.23 average, which is eleventh in the MACCC and best in the ICC program. His best round this season was at the Northeast Invitational where he shot a 70 in the opening round and followed with a 71 in the second round.
At the MACCC Championships in Meridian, Miller shot a 77 on the first day, a 79 on the second and finished the tournament tied for 15th, securing his Second Team All-MACCC honor.
In the NJCAA District D Championship, Miller also earned All-District honors and finished 13th with a two-day total of 161 to qualify for the NJCAA Tournament.
Miller will be the Indians' lone representative at the NJCAA Championship that will be held May 18-21 at the Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana.
