Indians card 10th-place finish at Tommy Snell Invitational
The Itawamba Community College golf team turned in a 10th-place finish at the Tommy Snell Invitational.
BILOXI, Miss. – The Itawamba Community College golf team turned in a 10th-place finish at the Tommy Snell Invitational, competing across three rounds of action against a competitive field.
Harvey Taylor led the way for the Indians, finishing tied for 11th on the individual leaderboard with a three-round total of 218 (+8). Taylor opened the tournament with a 69 (-1) before carding a 75 (+5) in the second round and closing with a 74 (+4) in the final round to secure a strong top-15 finish.
Malone Richardson also delivered a solid performance, finishing tied for 22nd overall with a 222 (+12). Richardson shot an even-par 70 in the opening round, followed by rounds of 75 (+5) and 77 (+7) to wrap up his tournament.
Katch Edge placed tied for 37th with a three-round total of 227 (+17), recording back-to-back rounds of 75 (+5) before posting a 77 (+7) in the final round.
Max King finished tied for 47th at 231 (+21). King shot 77 (+7) in the first round, 78 (+8) in the second and improved to a 76 (+6) in the final round.
Carter Seay rounded out the lineup, finishing tied for 70th with a total score of 257 (+47). Seay carded rounds of 87 (+17), 84 (+14) and 86 (+16) over the three-day event.
