Indians post 11th-place finish at East Central Invitational
The Itawamba Community College golf team finished 11th at the East Central Invitational, held at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in Philadelphia.
PHILADELPHIA, Miss. – The Itawamba Community College golf team finished 11th at the East Central Invitational, held at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in Philadelphia.
Max King led the Indians with a tie for 24th place on the individual leaderboard. King opened the tournament with an 80 (+8) in the first round before improving to a 78 (+6) in the second round, finishing with a two-round total of 158 (+14).
Katch Edge and Harvey Taylor each finished tied for 40th place with identical two-round totals of 161 (+17). Edge recorded rounds of 81 (+9) and 80 (+8), while Taylor posted an 80 (+8) in the opening round followed by an 81 (+9) in the final round.
Carter Seay placed tied for 66th after shooting a 97 (+25) in the first round and a 92 (+20) in the second round, finishing with a total score of 189 (+45).
Malone Richardson withdrew due to injury before the completion of the opening round.
