BRANDON, Miss. – Max King turned in a steady three-round performance at the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament, held at Castlewoods Country Club, finishing tied for 24th overall against a competitive field.
King opened the tournament with a solid first round, carding a 76 (+4) to position himself tied for 20th on the individual leaderboard. He followed with a 79 (+7) in the second round, moving to a tie for 27th heading into the final day.
Looking to close strong, King delivered in the third round with another 76 (+4), climbing back up the leaderboard to finish tied for 24th overall with a three-round total of 231 (+15).
The Trowbridge, England native earned his spot in the Region 23 Tournament as an individual qualifier following a strong performance at the MACCC Championship Tournament. King finished tied for 12th with a two-round total of 143 (+3), highlighted by an opening-round 68 (-2) before closing with a 75 (+5).
