PERKINSTON, MS – The Itawamba Community College men's soccer team drop its season opener, 2-0, to the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community Bulldogs in Perkinston on Friday.
The Bulldogs (1-0-0) took a 1-0 advantage in 25th minute when Jordan Hall (Manchester, England) scored on a corner kick. Hall would later set up Austin Miller (Bay St. Louis) in the 79th minute to give Gulf Coast a 2-0 margin of victory.
The Indians (0-1-0) return to action on Saturday, traveling to Pearl River Community College to take on the defending MACJC Champion Wildcats (0-0-0) at 1:00 p.m. in Poplarville. The match will be available at prccmedia.com/soccer.
