FULTON, MS – Sophomore defender Bryce Hunt was named to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-State team for the second-straight season.
"It's a blessing," said Hunt. "Without my teammates, coach, God and family I wouldn't have been able to receive this award. It's truly an honor to receive it for my school and represent them.
"I'm really excited for him to get back-to-back All-State honors," said Coach Mike Sullivan. "He missed a few games early in the year due to injury, but came back strong and was a great leader for us."
The Tupelo native was a staple on the Indians' backline during his entire career at ICC and anchored the defense this season as a captain. He helped the ICC defense five shutouts over two seasons along with a 1.39 goals-against-average (GAA) during his freshman season and a 2.17 GAA in his final season.
"He definitely deserves this award," said Sullivan. "He's been a great guy to have around and we're going to miss him a lot next season."
