Senatobia, Miss. – Itawamba Community College men's soccer picked up a shutout road victory Friday over Northwest Mississippi Community College.
After a scoreless first half, the Indians (8-4-2, 5-3-1 MACCC) scored three goals, two within seconds of each other, on their way to the 3-0 road victory.
Anthony Jones (Oxford) broke up the scoreless match with a goal at the 58th minute.
The Indians help the 1-0 advantage until Ian Thomas (Southaven) scored off an assist from Owen Anforth (Burnley, England) at 76:41.
Maryo Elsheikh (Bartlett, Tenn.) quickly scored 15 seconds later to extend the Indians' lead to 3-0.
With three goals lead, keeper Christian Mahan (Southaven) kept the Rangers off the board stopping their only two shots.
Tuesday, the Indians will wrap up regular season play when they host East Central Community College at 3 p.m. in Fulton.
