FULTON, Miss. – The Indians dropped a 2-0 decision against No. 10 Jones at the ICC Soccer Complex on Friday.
After a scoreless first half for both squads, the Bobcats struck first early in the second half and added another goal to take a 2-0 lead with 24:41 left to play. Alfredo Guerra (Capaccio, Italy) led the Indians with two shots on goal while Elijah Belk (Oxford) and Luke Dearsley (Sydney, Australia) each added one.
William Blake (Fulton) recorded eight saves in a complete game effort.
Next up, the Indians will host Southwest on Tuesday, Oct. 15 for a 3 p.m. match at the ICC Soccer Complex.
