FULTON, Miss. – The postseason recognition continues to pile up for freshman striker Villads Juma, who has earned a spot on the National Junior College Athletic Association All-Region 23 Team, the conference announced Monday.
The Helsingor, Denmark, native delivered a remarkable debut season, leading the Indians with 20 goals — the second most in a single season in program history, trailing only David Schumaker's 24-goal record set in 2007. Juma recorded a pair of hat tricks, first in ICC's 8-1 win over Oxford Emory on Aug. 29 and again in a 6-0 victory over Southwest on Oct. 10.
His standout year also included two MACCC Offensive Player of the Week honors, an NJCAA Division II Player of the Week selection, All-MACCC First Team recognition and the title of MACCC Men's Soccer Player of the Year.
The Indians finished the 2025 season with an 11-4-4 overall record and a 6-1-4 conference mark, including wins over the seventh- and eighth-ranked teams in the country along with a tie against the No. 11 team while receiving votes in the final NJCAA rankings of the season.
