ICC Men's Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

After advancing to the conference semifinals last season, the Itawamba Community College men’s soccer team will enter the 2026 campaign with a challenging schedule and a new look on the field.

FULTON, Miss. – After advancing to the conference semifinals last season, the Itawamba Community College men's soccer team will enter the 2026 campaign with a challenging schedule and a new look on the field.

Head coach Caryl Vogel and assistant coach Andrew Elkins will guide the Indians through a 20-match slate that includes three preseason friendlies, six nonconference matches and 11 conference contests.

ICC will prepare for the regular season with three home friendlies against four-year programs. Freed-Hardeman University visits Fulton Aug. 11, followed by Blue Mountain Christian University Aug. 15 and Christian Brothers University Aug. 21.

The Indians begin regular-season play Aug. 25 at Northeast Alabama. They will then travel to Illinois to face Johnson County in a neutral-site match Aug. 28 and Parkland on Aug. 30.

September opens with three nonconference contests. The Indians face Wallace State at home Sept. 4, travels to Calhoun on Sept. 8 and welcomes Pellissippi State to Fulton on Sept. 11.

Conference play begins Sept. 15 against Gulf Coast. The early portion of the league schedule also includes home matches against East Central and Meridian with a trip to Pearl River between those dates.

Three of ICC's first four October contests will be played on the road. The Indians travel to Southwest, Hinds and Co-Lin while facing East Mississippi in Fulton on Oct. 9.

The regular season closes with a three-match stretch against North Division opponents. Northwest comes to Fulton on Oct. 20 before the tribe visits Jones on Oct. 23. Holmes will be the opponent for the regular season finale Oct. 27.

ICC will be tasked with replacing striker Villads Juma, the reigning MACCC Men's Soccer Player of the Year and an NJCAA All-American. Juma continued his career at Winthrop University after helping the Indians reach the conference semifinals last season.

The upcoming campaign will also be the program's first under the lights. A new LED lighting system was installed at the ICC Soccer Complex during the summer, allowing the Indians to play evening matches at home. Seven dates are scheduled for 7 p.m., including the final six home contests.
