Bio
Caryl Vogel
Head Men’s Soccer Coach
Caryl Vogel has served as head men’s soccer coach at Itawamba Community College since 2022. Before returning to ICC, Vogel was the inaugural head coach for the men’s soccer program at Blue Mountain Christian University during its first season in 2021–2022. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade as head coach at New Albany High School from 2012 to 2021.
Vogel is an alumnus of the ICC men’s soccer program, playing from 2008 to 2010, continuing a family tradition as his older brother, Kriton Vogel, played for ICC from 2006 to 2008.
He holds an associate of arts degree from Itawamba Community College (2010), a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Mississippi State University (2012), and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Mississippi (2017).
Vogel is married to Elizabeth Day Vogel. They have two sons, Andy (Anderson) and Ollie (Oliver).
