FULTON, MS - Caleb Ballard (Shannon) was named to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Academic All-State team after finishing his final season at ICC with a 3.57 GPA.
Ballard and the Indians won the 2014 MACJC and National Junior College Athletic Association Region 23 Championships. He teamed with Joseph Summers (Amory) to advance to the semifinals of the No. 3 Doubles Consolation Bracket before losing to the eventual champions.
The Indians finished 15th amongst the nation's elite programs and had the highest finish in the national championships amongst participating MACJC programs.
