Mendes selected to All-MACCC Men’s Tennis Team
Itawamba Community College sophomore Joao Pedro Mendes of Mogi Guacu, Brazil was named to the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) All-MACCC Men’s Tennis Team Thursday.

Ellisville, Miss. – Itawamba Community College sophomore Joao Pedro Mendes of Mogi Guacu, Brazil was named to the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) All-MACCC Men's Tennis Team Thursday.
Mendes played No. 1 singles for the Indians and in regular season conference play he went 8-3, and he also went 8-3 in No. 1 doubles play.
He helped the Indians advance to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 23 Championship Tournament semifinals.
