It’s been a frustrating start to the season for the two-time defending MACJC North Division champion Lady Indian softball team after Coach Andy Kirk announced the second-straight game has been postponed due to the wintery wrath of Mother Nature.

FULTON, MS – It's been a frustrating start to the season for the two-time defending MACJC North Division champion Lady Indian softball team after Coach Andy Kirk announced the second-straight game has been postponed due to the wintery wrath of Mother Nature.
Thursday's doubleheader against Gadsden State Community College (AL) has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a date to be announced.
"I know it's been frustrating for the girls," said Kirk. "They have been working so hard to get ready for the season and have been chomping at the bit to get the season started, but hopefully third time will be a charm for us to be able to hit the road on Saturday."
The Lady Indians (0-0, 0-0 MACJC North) will now look to open the season on road at Copiah-Lincoln Community College (2-0, 0-0 MACJC South) on Saturday, February 15 before hosting Hinds Community College (0-2, 0-0 MACJC South) on Sunday, February 16 in a make-up game.
