Saturday’s ICC Softball doubleheader at Jones moved to Sunday
The No. 7 Itawamba Community College softball program’s doubleheader at No. 1 Jones County Junior College has been moved to Sunday, April 8.
FULTON, Miss. – The No. 7 Itawamba Community College softball program's doubleheader at No. 1 Jones County Junior College has been moved to Sunday, April 8.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, April 7 the conference twin bill and clash between top 10 squads was pushed back a day due to weather concerns. The Indians (26-6, 17-1 MACJC) had the first half of the week off while the Bobcats swept Pearl River Community College Wednesday.
Both squads have all but officially clinched playoff spots and Sunday's games are certain to play a role in the postseason. The Bobcats (34-1, 20-0 MACJC) are riding a 26-game win streak while the Indians have won eight straight.
Game one first pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. with game two to follow - both games will be available on jcjc.tv.
