No. 8 Indians sweep Holmes with 5-1 game two win
After run-rule victory in game one, the Indians completed the sweep of Holmes with a 5-1 victory in game two.

GOODMAN, Miss. – After run-rule victory in game one, the Indians completed the sweep of Holmes with a 5-1 victory in game two.
The Indians took an early lead scoring three runs in the second inning and added a run in both the third and fourth frames. Holmes lone run came in the bottom of the second.
Cori Childs(New Site) led the Indians offensively going 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Macey Cox(Troy, Tenn.) picked up two hits in a thee plate appearances and Bailie Springfield(Mantee) doubled and scored a run in two at bats.
In the circle, Olivia Burns (Grenada) threw a complete game three hitter to pick up her tenth win this season. The Indians will return home for a conference doubleheader with Southwest Friday. First pitch is set for 1 pm.
