HANCEVILLE, Ala. - The Indians scored five runs in the top of the fourth inning and held off a late rally by the Lions to pick up a 5-4 road win on Saturday.
The Indians pushed across two runs on a bases-load, two-out error before Ivy Watts made it a 3-2 lead. Chloe Morgan drove in a pair of runs on a single to left.
The Indians pieced together seven hits on the afternoon with Hope Harbin and Chloe Morgan driving in a pair of runs.
Taylor Evans picked up the win after giving up one earned run on two hits and a walk while striking out one batter in two innings of work. Mary Kate Butler got the save after one and two thirds innings of scoreless work.
