FULTON, MS – Sophomore Kaelin Kneeland has been selected as the MACJC Women's Player of the Week.
The 5'9 forward had a pair of double-double performances to help the Lady Indians improve to 11-2 on the year with road wins over Jones County and Volunteer State (TN) last week.
On Tuesday, she scored 17 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and dished out 1 assist while connecting on 7-of-16 from the floor and 3-of-4 from the free throw line in ICC's 86-81 win over Jones County.
Kneeland recorded her second double-double of the week with 13 points and 10 rebounds to go along with 1 assist while shooting 6-of-7 from the floor and 1-of-2 from the charity stripe in the Lady Indians' 78-63 win over Volunteer State on Thursday.
She will be eligible for NJCAA Player of the Week honors, which will be announced later this week.
