Lady Indians top Holmes, 78-68, in regular season finale
The Lady Indians wrapped up the regular season with a 78-68 win over Holmes on Sophomore Night.

FULTON, Miss. – The Lady Indians wrapped up the regular season with a 78-68 win over Holmes on Sophomore Night.
Holmes took a 13-10 after the first quarter, but the Lady Indians outscored the Lady Bulldogs 20-16 in the second quarter to that a 30-29 lead into the locker room. The game continued to be back-and-forth throughout the third quarter before the Lady Indians went on a small run in the fourth quarter to pick up the 10-point win.
Shaniyah Buford (Abbeville) scored a game-high 16 with Kealy Wilson (Olive Branch) coming off the bench to add 12 points. Kaylyn Wilson (Columbus) scored 10 in the win.
The Lady Indians will enter next week's MACJC Tournament at Jones College as the top seed from the North Division, but will have to wait to see who they will play with four teams in the South Division tied for the final three spots in the tournament.
