Lady Indians to face Coahoma in MACCC Tournament
ICC will face Coahoma in opening round of MACCC Tournament.
Fulton, Miss. - The Itawamba Community College women's basketball will face a familiar opponent in the opening round of the MACCC Tournament when they meet up with Coahoma Community College, Monday afternoon in Poplarville.
The Lady Indians (14-8) faced Coahoma twice in the regular season with the Lady Tigers winning the matchup in Clarksdale, 72-61, and ICC winning 73-66 in Fulton.
The third meeting will be at Pearl River Community College, who is hosting this year's conference tournament, with tip-off scheduled for 3 p.m.
ICC is the No. 6 seed in the tournament while Coahoma is the three seed. The winner of Monday's contest will play the winner of No. 2 Southwest and No. 7 East Mississippi on Wednesday.
