Williams named MACCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

FULTON, Miss. – Itawamba Community College sophomore D'Naylah Williams (Kosciusko) has earned Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Williams has played a key role in the Lady Indians' 4-0 start this season, recording four consecutive double-double performances. She scored 12 points, had 10 rebounds in the 75-34 win over ASU Mid-South and a career night in ICC's 78-65 victory at Columbia State (26 points, 12 rebounds) both career-high performances. Williams and her teammates will be back in action on Thursday, Nov. 14, when they host Freed-Hardeman JV at 5:30 p.m. in the Davis Event Center.
