DECATUR, Ala. — The Lady Indians used a dominant third quarter and a balanced scoring effort to pull away from Calhoun Community College for a 64–49 win on Tuesday.
Leading 28–22 at halftime, the Lady Indians erupted for 24 points in the third period while holding Calhoun to 12, creating the separation needed to secure their road victory. ICC shot 46.6 percent from the field and held the Warhawks to just 32.1 percent overall and 2-of-8 from three.
Tootie Lockett led the Lady Indians with 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting, adding four rebounds and three assists. Carlie Brock provided a major boost off the bench with 13 points and six rebounds, and Starr Amos added 11 points and five boards.
The Indians won the rebounding battle 31–27.
