FULTON, Miss. - ICC set the tone early, kept the pressure on, and turned Thursday into a 70-40 home win over Mississippi Delta. The Lady Indians led wire to wire and held Delta under 20 points in every quarter.
The Lady Indians jumped out 16-8 after one, then stretched it in the second to take a 37-20 lead into halftime. The cushion grew again coming out of the break as the Lady Indians won the third 20-12 to push the margin to 57-32 heading to the fourth.
Tootie Lockett led the way with 18 points and added four assists plus three steals. I'Xana Winters added 14 points while Briyana Turner added 10 points. Chloe Chism gave the Lady Indians a lift off the bench with 10 points and two threes, and Carlie Brock ran the offense with eight assists to go with nine points.
