Four Lady Indians Pick Up All-MACCC Honors
Four ICC women’s basketball players were recognized as the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) released its 2025-26 Women’s Basketball All-Conference Teams
FULTON, Miss. – Four ICC women's basketball players were recognized as the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) released its 2025-26 Women's Basketball All-Conference Teams on Wednesday.
Tootie Lockett earned First Team All-MACCC honors after putting together one of the top all-around seasons in the conference. She led the Lady Indians with 15 points per game while recording 83 assists and 44 steals. She scored a career-high 29 points in ICC's 84-46 win over Holmes on Feb. 26.
ICC placed two players on the Second Team, as I'Xana Winters and Carlie Brock were both recognized for their contributions.
Winters was behind Lockett with a second-best average of 10.8 points per contest while leading with a 31.5 three-point percentage and recording a team-best 85 assists. She matched her season-high 20 points in a 66-61 road loss at Pearl River on Jan. 31.
Brock made her presence felt in her debut season as she averaged a 45.4 shooting percentage with 59 assists and 35 steals. She captured her season-best 23-point performance in the Lady Indians' 71-63 road win over Snead State on Dec. 8.
Briyana Turner was named Honorable Mention All-MACCC after leading ICC with a 45.8 shooting percentage and 6.5 rebounds per game. She recorded 20 assists with 28 steals and scored a career-best 22 points in the Lady Indians' 81-51 road loss at No. 2 Shelton State on Nov. 6.
The Lady Indians finished the 2025-26 season with a 22-8 overall record with a 12-2 mark in MACCC play and an appearance in the Region 23 semifinals.
