Lady Indians drop season opener to Meridian

FULTON, MS – The Itawamba Community College women's tennis program opened up the 2017 season at home, but fell 8-1 to Meridian Community College.
The Lady Indians started day dropping all three doubles matches but fought hard and battled until the end.
Sophomore Jordan Roberts (Shannon) started off singles play with a 6-3, 6-1 victory, but the Lady Eagles were able to win the other five matches to pick up the win.
The Lady Indians will host East Central on Friday.
